TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – There are dozens of pups who would love nothing more than to head home for the holidays – your home!<\/p>\n

Furry Friday is a collaboration between WCTV and the Tallahassee Animal Service Center designed to get dogs out of their kennels and into the spotlight in hopes of helping them find their fur-ever families, faster!<\/p>\n

Here the dogs we are featuring this week:<\/p>\n

MEET BROCK LEE \"MeetMeet Brock! Brock does appreciate short walks though, not long ones and he follows his nose a lot, soaking in all the sights, sounds and smells along the way. (Julie Montanaro\/WCTV)<\/p>\n

Meet Brock Lee. We\u2019ll call him Brock for short!<\/p>\n

This pup is what dog-lovers affectionately call a tripod. <\/p>\n

He\u2019s missing one of his front legs, but it doesn\u2019t slow him down a bit!<\/p>\n

Brock does appreciate short walks though, not long ones and he follows his nose a lot, soaking in all the sights, sounds and smells along the way. <\/p>\n

If you can offer Brock a lot of fun and a lot of TLC, please visit him at the shelter this weekend!<\/p>\n

MEET JACK \"MeetMeet Jack! Laid back Jack is essentially a 50 pound lap dog – who is not shy about rolling over for an extended belly rub – before hitting the trail. (Julie Montanaro\/WCTV)<\/p>\n

This sweet boy is ready to fall in love. <\/p>\n

Laid back Jack is essentially a 50 pound lap dog – who is not shy about rolling over for an extended belly rub – before hitting the trail. <\/p>\n

Jack likes long walks in the woods and will go just about anywhere as long as he\u2019s with a trusted friend. <\/p>\n

As soon as he\u2019s comfortable with you, he relaxes and starts bouncing and bounding along like a puppy even though he\u2019s full grown! <\/p>\n

This shepherd mix hasn\u2019t spent much time on a leash, but he\u2019s a quick learner and is looking for a loving loyal companion! <\/p>\n

You can meet Jack – and rub his belly – at the shelter this weekend!<\/p>\n

MEET LADY\"MeetMeet Lady! Energetic and enthusiastic, Lady doesn\u2019t let much grass grow under her feet!(Julie Montanaro\/WCTV)<\/p>\n

This spunky girl had to make sure our camera was safe before she showed off her true colors!<\/p>\n

Energetic and enthusiastic, Lady doesn\u2019t let much grass grow under her feet!<\/p>\n

She loves playing with other dogs and jumping in the play yard pool!<\/p>\n

She\u2019ll stop long enough for some treats and a few scratches behind the ears and then she\u2019s ready to explore the world again!<\/p>\n

Lady would love an fun-loving family with other pups and big backyard! <\/p>\n

MEET BONNIE\"MeetMeet Bonnie! If you want the perfect snuggly playful pup – Bonnie is ready to join you! (Julie Montanaro\/WCTV)<\/p>\n

Meet Bonnie<\/p>\n

Apparently Bonnie\u2019s cuteness knows no bounds. <\/p>\n

This puppy is all puppy – she loves toys – and playing tug of war.<\/p>\n

Bonnie is very wiggly and sweet.<\/p>\n

She came into the shelter with a terrible skin condition, but with some TLC and good food, it\u2019s healing … and she\u2019s too busy having fun now to notice! <\/p>\n

If you want the perfect snuggly playful pup – Bonnie is ready to join you! <\/p>\n

You can visit her at the shelter this weekend! <\/p>\n

MEET AND GREET<\/p>\n

You can meet these dogs and dozens more awaiting adoption at the Tallahassee Animal Service Center. It\u2019s located across from Tom Brown Park at 1125 Easterwood Drive in Tallahassee.<\/p>\n

People can walk through the kennels Wednesday through Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. People can also visit by appointment the rest of the week from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.<\/p>\n

We are excited to share that three more dogs featured on Furry Friday have just been adopted! and three more were selected for a life-saving transport!<\/p>\n

Congratulations to Cocoa,<\/a> Carter<\/a> and Cousteau <\/a>and their new families! and safe travels to Precious<\/a>, Furnando <\/a>and Betsy<\/a> who were transported to rescues up north with the promise of fur-ever homes there!<\/p>\n
