PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. (CBS12) \u2014 Two men are facing over 30 charges after police say they caught them in the middle of a string of Port St. Lucie car burglaries early Friday.<\/p>\n
Early Friday morning, officers with the Port St. Lucie Police Department (PSLPD) say they were called to the 2000 block of SE Trillo Street for reports of people rummaging through a car.<\/p>\n
According to PSLPD, the suspects, later identified as Yamsuel Jiminez Reyes and Dario Martinez, were dressed in vibrant colors with balaclavas covering their faces.<\/p>\n
See also: Parents say they were left in the dark after 12-year-old\u2019s arrest at St. Lucie West K-8<\/a><\/p>\n Officers say they canvassed the area and caught both suspects in the act as they were allegedly attempting to burglarize another car.<\/p>\n The investigation revealed that the duo had burglarized multiple unsecured cars, and Reyes was located with a gun in his pocket.<\/p>\n Martinez was booked for 20 charges, including possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, burglary, wearing a hooded mask during the commission of a crime, and possession of burglary tools.
