And they now say it all started with a kidnapping at a McDonald\u2019s.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.local10.com\/espanol\/2025\/11\/14\/arrestan-a-tres-por-secuestro-en-mcdonalds-de-davie-que-derivo-en-persecucion-policial-segun-la-policia\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.local10.com\/espanol\/2025\/11\/14\/arrestan-a-tres-por-secuestro-en-mcdonalds-de-davie-que-derivo-en-persecucion-policial-segun-la-policia\/\">Leer en espa\u00f1ol<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Authorities arrested Tracey Ross, 30, along with Lamar Perry and Timothy Brown, both 18, after the chase ended with one of the suspects slamming an SUV into a traffic light pole on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Investigators said Ross took a man\u2019s phone off a table at the McDonald\u2019s at 11200 State Road 84 in Davie and demanded that the victim \u201cget into their vehicle in order to get his phone back.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Davie police said after the men drove the 30-year-old victim to the 700 block of Northwest Ninth Avenue in Fort Lauderdale, the victim was \u201cwas forced out of the vehicle and was physically struck.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">\u201cHe fled, stopped a person in the area and called 911 to report that he was kidnapped from Davie,\u201d a Davie Police Department spokesperson said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The men then fled to Pompano Beach after Fort Lauderdale police found the vehicle, authorities said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Perry\u2019s aunt, Vicky Perry, spoke to Local 10 News, expressing shock at her nephew\u2019s arrest.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">She said he called her in the middle of the chase.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">\u201cHe called me crying saying, \u2018Auntie we\u2019re on a high-speed chase,\u2019\u201d Vicky Perry said. \u201cI kept screaming, yelling, telling him to stop. I\u2019m crying, and he just would not stop. I had my nephew\u2019s location. I followed my nephew\u2019s location. By the time I got there, they had already got him.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">She added, \u201cHim being on that side of the town, (where) he knows nobody over there, is pretty strange to me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Brown\u2019s mother spoke in court.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">\u201cI\u2019ve never seen my son get in trouble or do anything like this,\u201d she said. \u201cI don\u2019t know who he was with and, like, what happened.
