TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – A Crawfordville man was sentenced to 15 years in prison in connection to drug and gun charges, according to the U.S. Attorney\u2019s Office of the Northern District of Florida.<\/p>\n
Jason Rigdon\u2019s sentencing comes after pleading guilty<\/a> to possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, the attorney\u2019s office wrote in a press release Friday.<\/p>\n The 44-year-old was arrested after investigators developed information in February indicating that Rigdon was involved in trafficking illegal firearms and methamphetamine, per the release.<\/p>\n More on crime in our area<\/p>\n \u201cAfter a series of controlled operations during which methamphetamine and a handgun were purchased from the defendant,\u201d the attorney\u2019s office said that investigators then executed a search warrant in March at Rigdon\u2019s home.<\/p>\n During that search of his home and the vehicle he was arrested in, authorities recovered 13 guns, \u201ctwo of which had been reported stolen,\u201d according to the release.
