Led by chef Micha\u00ebl Michaelidis and executive chef Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Aumeunier, the culinary team plans to deliver Cycladic flavors shaped by RDG\u2019s distinctive touch.<\/p>\n<p>To those not familiar with the name, the group owns some of Miami\u2019s hottest new restaurants, including Mila, which <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.miaminewtimes.com\/food-drink\/south-beach-mila-is-ninth-most-beautiful-restaurant-in-the-us-19761983\/\">was named one of the most beautiful restaurants in the U.S.<\/a>, <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.miaminewtimes.com\/food-drink\/miami-mediterranean-riverfront-restaurant-casa-neo-opens-on-riverfront-20399820\/\">Casa Neos<\/a>, and <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.miaminewtimes.com\/food-drink\/french-restaurant-claudie-opens-in-brickell-with-cocktails-escargot-22420815\/\">Claudie<\/a>, the latter being one of\u00a0New Times\u2018 Top 100 Restaurants. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cAva Coconut Grove marks the evolution of our vision \u2014 a flagship that brings the soul of the Mediterranean to one of Miami\u2019s most storied neighborhoods,\u201d\u00a0expresses Gregory Galy, founder and CEO of Riviera Dining Group. Guests can expect a vibrant array of Cycladic-inspired dishes, crafted from bright herbs, citrus, olive oil, exotic spices, premium proteins, and seasonal vegetables, capturing the essence of the earth and sea. Having developed his craft in some of the world\u2019s most celebrated kitchens, including Michelin-starred restaurants Per Se, La Maison Pic, and Pineapple &amp; Pearls, Aumeunier brings Miami an expression of Mediterranean cooking that is precise, expressive, and true to the flavors of the Greek islands.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The menu features seafood-forward plates, including the \u201cAegean Tuna Ceviche,\u201d \u201cMediterranean Seabass Carpaccio,\u201d and \u201cChilean Seabassote Kakavia,\u201d alongside luxurious options such as lobster pasta and a 32-ounce Tomahawk steak. Shareable dishes, including whole branzino Spetziota-style and prawns wrapped in crisp kadaifi with black garlic emulsion, encourage convivial dining. Created by Moroccan-Spanish designer Lazaro Rosa-Viol\u00e1n, the three-part restaurant couples the minimalism of the Aegean Sea with Miami\u2019s effervescent elegance. \u201cWe\u2019ve created a restaurant that welcomes the public with exceptional cuisine, design, and atmosphere,\u201d explains Galy.\u00a0 An arrangement of rattan, limestone, travertine custom furniture, and natural fibers sourced from artisans across Greece and Latin America comes together in a coastal palette of whites, sand, and earth tones across the restaurant\u2019s three sections: an open-air terrace, a sculpted dining room, and the intimate members-only club Ava MM.
