What moisture is present in the atmosphere is going to all get bullied down into the lowest level, condensing, and producing some fairly hefty fog for parts of Alachua, Marion, Sumter, Lake, and Polk counties.

The areas shaded in green show slightly higher available humidity to work with. The greater the humidity, the higher the likelihood we see some fog out there, especially in the western portions of the Florida peninsula (Copyright WKMG 2025)

The eastern half of Central Florida should start the day with plenty of sunshine and mostly clear skies.

That will be the song and dance we continue to follow over the next seven days.

A dry front is slated to work its way on in from up north flowing due south as we rock through your Monday and Tuesday, but will do little in the way to break down this warming trend we’ve realized since the cold snap came to a close.

By the end of this upcoming week we’ll be approaching afternoon high temperatures anywhere from three-to-five degrees above the average for this time in November.

Let’s watch the needle climb higher and higher into above average territory as subtropical ridging sits directly over us (Copyright WKMG 2025)

Astonishing how Mother Nature can flip switches whenever she wants. She once plunged Floridians down into nearly 10-15 degree below average temps, and now we’re rebounding back in spectacular fashion towards warmer-than-normal conditions as we get closer to Thanksgiving and Black Friday.

Long range computer models are finally hinting towards the return of some much-needed rain maybe two Monday’s from now, as we enter Thanksgiving week.

We’re going to remain beneath an upper level pattern that will keep moisture scarce and instability limited to trigger much, even in the form of general cloud cover.

The CPC has us plastered for extensively above average temperatures moving towards Thanksgiving (Copyright WKMG 2025)

So if you’d been looking for an escape from the cold up north, and you’ve ventured down to our neighborhood – you’re in luck!

If you’re like myself, and a few select other native Floridians who don’t mind the occasional chill periods – we’ve got some time to kill together.

Daily Forecast

The News 6 Weather team ensures you’re always on top of the day’s weather.

Copyright 2025 by WKMG ClickOrlando – All rights reserved.

ORLANDO, Fla. – Looks like a rerun of the foggy conditions we started our morning with all over…

[6
147,31171,520,28,30,29,12121,31172,508,3615,7272,139,31173,29665,21933,221,404,4715
0":"post-48351","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-florida","8":"tag-central-florida","9":"tag-dense-fog","10":"tag-fall","11":"tag-florida","12":"tag-florida-headlines","13":"tag-florida-news","14":"tag-fog","15":"tag-foggy","16":"tag-forecast","17":"tag-high-pressure","18":"tag-hot","19":"tag-orlando","20":"tag-ridge","21":"tag-warm-up","22":"tag-warming-up","23":"tag-weather","24":"tag-weather-forecast","25":"tag-weather-news
["GET
