Jaedyn Shaw helped set up the game-winning goal for Gotham FC in the quarterfinals of the NWSL Playoffs. On Sunday evening, she was the one to score the game-winner.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Shaw\u2019s goal in stoppage time propelled Gotham to the NWSL Championship game with a 1-0 win over the Orlando Pride, the defending champions, punching the club\u2019s ticket to the title game for the second time in the last three years.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Gotham FC forward was given a free kick just outside the penalty area when she bent her shot toward the net, allowing it to take a bounce and catching Orlando keeper Anna Moorhouse off guard enough for the ball to go in.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Shaw\u2019s teammates mobbed her in exhilaration as the stunned Orlando crowd looked on.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The victory sends Gotham FC to face the Washington Spirit for the NWSL title at PayPal Park in San Jose, Calif.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The last time Gotham was in the championship game, the club won its first NWSL title.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Gotham goalkeeper Ann-Katrin Berger made a pair of saves in the win, including a dramatic save at the end of the match that kept Orlando from tying the game.\u00a0<\/p>\n

A ball was dangerously sent into the box off a free kick that was headed by Oihane Hern\u00e1ndez and looked destined to find the back of the net.\u00a0<\/p>\n
