TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – The Remembering Me Project hosted a fundraiser Monday night to help teens in need. <\/p>\n
The community gathered at Earley\u2019s Kitchen for \u201can evening of breakfast.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Remembering Me Project is a nonprofit working to uplift teens from low-income families, especially during the holiday season. <\/p>\n

Michael Cork, president of Let\u2019s Take L.E.A.D., said they had guests sign a Note of Hope, which will be placed in gift baskets that will be delivered to foster kids at Northwest Florida Health.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis is a note of encouragement, letting them know that we remember them, that they are special, and that they mean something to us,\u201d Cork said. <\/p>\n
The organization aims to help those who have aged out of the foster care system and make sure they feel valued by providing gifts and personal care products.<\/p>\n
