The streets surrounding the college will be filled with hundreds of book vendors, author presentations, the vibrant, family-friendly Children\u2019s Alley offering hands-on activities and performances, and diverse food and drink options presented by Smorgasburg Miami.<\/p>\n<p>Another highlight of the Street Fair is the \u201cOFF THE SHELF\u201d live music stage, offering continuous free performances all weekend. This year\u2019s lineup includes dozens of local acts, such as Yacht Rock Miami, The French Horn Collective, Kemy J &amp; The Feel Good Fiesta, and the Turntable Sharks.<\/p>\n<p>WHEN: Street Fair Hours:<\/p>\n<p>Friday, Nov. 21: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.<br \/>\nSaturday, Nov. 22: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.<br \/>\nSunday, Nov. 23: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>Saturday Early-Bird Activation<\/p>\n<p>Author sessions begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 22, but arriving early has its perks. The first 100 fairgoers to arrive by 9 a.m. will receive a free cup of coffee from Spillmug Coffee, courtesy of Focus Features\u2019 upcoming film Hamnet, written and directed by Academy Award winner Chlo\u00e9 Zhao. Early arrivals will also have first access to that morning\u2019s marquee sessions featuring Padma Lakshmi with Aleksandra Crapanzano, Naomi Shihab Nye and Tracy K. Smith, and Gene Pressman and Matthew Schneier with Simon Doonan.<\/p>\n<p>WHERE: Miami Dade College, Wolfson Campus 300 NE Second Ave. Downtown Miami, FL 33132<\/p>\n<p>Instructions for media:<\/p>\n<p>PARKING: You may park for free in the College\u2019s garage (Building 7) on N.E. 2nd Ave with entrances at N.E. 6th and N.E. 5th St. but note the garage fills up fast. The garage is adjacent to the Freedom Tower.
