MIAMI BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) \u2014 YouTuber Jack Doherty\u2019s latest video stunt ended in handcuffs after Miami Beach police say he stepped into traffic for a \u201cbet\u201d and refused to move.<\/p>\n
According to officers with the Miami Beach Police Department (MBPD), 22-year-old YouTube influencer and streamer Jack Doherty intentionally stepped in the middle of Washington Ave. to film content and blocked traffic, creating a “dangerous situation for drivers and himself.”<\/p>\n
Officers say they instructed him multiple times to clear the road, but Doherty allegedly refused, responding, “Once I’m done with this bet!”<\/p>\n
In the released bodycam footage, multiple men are seen surrounding Doherty and filming on their phones while being shooed away by officers.<\/p>\n

(CBS12) \u2014 A quick-thinking Florida deputy saved the life of a 1-year-old girl who had stopped breathing.<\/p>\n Officials said that Deputy Curtis Redford from the Lee County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) quickly responded to an emergency call at a local home.<\/p>\n Upon arrival, he reported finding little Catalina unresponsive. (CBS12) \u2014 A dramatic chase involving both a K-9 team and drone pilots ended with the capture of two teenage runaways who allegedly tried to break into an occupied Vero Beach home in late October.<\/p>\n The Indian River County Sheriff\u2019s Office (IRCSO) said deputies and Vero Beach police responded to a burglary in progress on October 28 after a woman called 911, reporting two teens were trying to force her front door open. After driving erratically, Gallo allegedly exited his car at the intersection of Homestead Road N and Alabama Road S, wielding a machete.<\/p>\n He reportedly struck the rear window of her car, shattering the glass.
