Allegiant is expanding at Huntsville International Airport with a new nonstop route to Fort Lauderdale \u2014 and a Gulf Shores nonstop coming next year.<\/p>\n

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. \u2014 Huntsville International Airport is getting a boost in air service as Allegiant launches new nonstop flights to Fort Lauderdale, marking the low-cost carrier\u2019s official entry into the Huntsville market.<\/p>\n

The airline is promoting introductory one-way fares starting at $39, according to Allegiant.<\/p>\n

“We\u2019re excited to launch service in Huntsville and connect travelers to another vibrant Florida destination,” said Drew Wells, Allegiant’s chief commercial officer. \u201cOur brand of all-nonstop flights at unbeatable value continues to resonate with customers. Airport leaders say the new service reflects growing demand from North Alabama travelers.<\/p>\n
