(WCTV) &#8211; A rescue owner<a href=\"https:\/\/www.wctv.tv\/2024\/07\/17\/putrid-smell-wctv-investigation-reveals-new-details-dozens-charges-stacked-against-animal-rescue-owners\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.wctv.tv\/2024\/07\/17\/putrid-smell-wctv-investigation-reveals-new-details-dozens-charges-stacked-against-animal-rescue-owners\/\"> accused of animal cruelty <\/a>is set to stand trial in Tallahassee on Wednesday. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wctv.tv\/2024\/05\/02\/tallahassee-pet-rescue-owner-judy-du-bois-arrested-charged-with-criminal-animal-cruelty\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.wctv.tv\/2024\/05\/02\/tallahassee-pet-rescue-owner-judy-du-bois-arrested-charged-with-criminal-animal-cruelty\/\">Judy Du Bois was arrested in May 2024<\/a> and charged with animal cruelty and confining animals without sufficient food and water. (Photo\/Leon County Sheriff&#8217;s Office)<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The trial comes nearly 18 months after <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wctv.tv\/2024\/04\/17\/video-leon-county-officials-reveal-60-dogs-confiscated-due-muddy-cages-ordinance-violations\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.wctv.tv\/2024\/04\/17\/video-leon-county-officials-reveal-60-dogs-confiscated-due-muddy-cages-ordinance-violations\/\">Leon County Animal Control seized 90 dogs from Du Bois\u2019 property<\/a> on Sparrow Road. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Du Bois\u2019 arrest report states the animals were living in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wctv.tv\/2024\/05\/03\/filthy-unsanitary-inhumane-du-bois-rescue-owner-bonds-out-jail-after-animal-cruelty-arrest\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.wctv.tv\/2024\/05\/03\/filthy-unsanitary-inhumane-du-bois-rescue-owner-bonds-out-jail-after-animal-cruelty-arrest\/\" target=\"_blank\">filthy, unsanitary, and inhumane conditions<\/a>.
