JACSONVILLE, Fla. \u2014 A man accused of killing his co-worker at Jacksonville\u2019s Anheuser Busch brewery<\/a> pleaded not guilty on Thursday.<\/p>\n

Jason Guthrie is charged with the second-degree murder of 22-year-old Antoine Autry<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Investigators with the Jacksonville Sheriff\u2019s Office said Guthrie stabbed Autry to death on October 30.<\/p>\n

That wasn\u2019t the first time Guthrie had been suspected of killing someone. Action News Jax uncovered a link to Guthrie and the 2017 death of Autumn Lee Van Camp<\/a>. Investigators said she had been strangled and that her body was found underneath a bed in Guthrie\u2019s home. <\/p>\n

JSO told Action News Jax that Guthrie was the only suspect in Van Camp\u2019s death, and after the State Attorney\u2019s Office declined prosecution because of Guthrie\u2019s mental incompetence, her case was \u201cexceptionally closed\u201d.<\/p>\n

That means Guthrie was never charged with her murder.<\/p>\n

Van Camp\u2019s daughter, Summer Pace, spoke exclusively with Action News Jax\u2019s Jake Stofan about Guthrie\u2019s arrest.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is terrifying to think that people like this are slipping through the cracks,\u201d said Pace.<\/p>\n

Guthrie had been in and out of state mental hospitals for the past seven years.<\/p>\n

In a dramatic display of unity among the two victims\u2019 families, Summer Pace and April Flood, Autry\u2019s mother, sat front row at Guthrie\u2019s arraignment, holding hands and comforting each other through the hearing in hopes of gaining some sense of justice. <\/p>\n

Pace told Action News Jax she plans to join Flood at Guthrie\u2019s next pretrial hearing scheduled for December 16th at 9 a.m.<\/p>\n
