(<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mysuncoast.com\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.mysuncoast.com\/\">WWSB<\/a>) &#8211; Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) report a man fell asleep while driving near the Sunshine Skyway Bridge, causing a crash that ejected a passenger from the vehicle. The report said that they had died from their injuries.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mysuncoast.com\/2025\/11\/23\/deadly-collision-port-charlotte-intersection\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.mysuncoast.com\/2025\/11\/23\/deadly-collision-port-charlotte-intersection\/\">Deadly collision at Port Charlotte intersection<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">On Nov. 23, around 4 a.m., a man was driving south on Interstate 275 with three passengers when he lost control of the vehicle, striking a tree and a guardrail, according to the FHP report. A 27-year-old female passenger was ejected from the vehicle and transported to a hospital, where she later died from her injuries.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The driver and the other two passengers were not injured.<\/p>\n<p class=\"copyright |\">Copyright 2025 WWSB.
