(WSVN) &#8211; One person was killed and another critically injured over the weekend in a shooting inside a Davie home, police said.<\/p>\n<p>Davie Police officers responded to the 4700 block of Southwest 70th Terrace after receiving reports of gunfire, at around 8:35 p.m. on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>Inside the residence, police said, they found two elderly adults with gunshot wounds.<\/p>\n<p>One victim was pronounced dead at the scene. <\/p>\n<p>The second was taken to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries.<\/p>\n<p>Detectives said they are not releasing the victims\u2019 names and that there is no threat to the community.<\/p>\n<p>Investigators said they are not seeking additional persons of interest.<\/p>\n<p>Copyright 2025 Sunbeam Television Corp.
