After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Doral Academy, Carol City<\/a> was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 90-34 victory over the Westland Hialeah Wildcats<\/a>. For the Chiefs, this counts as revenge for the 55-42 win the Wildcats walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.<\/p>\n Leading Carol City to victory were Santana McField<\/a> and Tremaine Holland<\/a>. McField went 8-for-10 en route to 18 points and three steals, while Holland shot 67% from the field to rack up 14 points along with six assists and five boards. Another player making a difference was Dartagnan Remy<\/a>, who went 5-for-9 on his way to 11 points.<\/p>\n Carol City’s first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Westland Hialeah, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.<\/p>\n Looking ahead, Carol City won’t have much time to rest: their next game is against Coral Gables at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Westland Hialeah, they will also get right back to it: they’ll square off against Mater Brickell Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats will need to watch out since the Bulls have now posted at least 55 points every time they’ve taken the court this season.<\/p>\n
