TALLAHASSEE, FL \u2014 Peach Cobbler Factory is preparing to open its first Tallahassee location in early 2026. Franchisee Elton Powell Jr. told Business Debut the dessert shop will debut at 1660 West Tennessee Street Suite 3, Tallahassee, FL 32304<\/a>. Powell said the team is \u201cbeing conservative\u201d with timing and is targeting mid- to late January 2026.<\/p>\n

What to Expect<\/p>\n

Peach Cobbler Factory is a fast-casual dessert concept specializing in cobblers, puddings, cookies, brownies, coffee, and other sweets. Powell said cobbler remains the brand\u2019s signature, but the menu offers a range of desserts served throughout the day. Limited indoor seating\u2014estimated at four to six seats\u2014is planned, as most customers are expected to order and go.<\/p>\n

Powell said the concept resonated with him because of its simplicity and broad appeal. \u201cPeople like good tasting desserts, and this model seems to be a really good model that’s pretty simple and sustainable,\u201d he told Business Debut. He added that Peach Cobbler Factory offers \u201ca wide variety of different desserts,\u201d including cobblers served with ice cream, banana pudding, cinnamon rolls, and cookies.<\/p>\n

Ownership and Background<\/p>\n

The Tallahassee location is a family-run venture led by Powell, a chiropractic physician who has practiced in Tallahassee since 2015. Powell is joined by his father, Elton Powell Sr., and his brother, Benjamin Powell, who will support day-to-day operations and marketing. This will be the family\u2019s first franchise.<\/p>\n
