When it comes to quintessential superyacht destinations, it\u2019s pretty hard to top the Mediterranean in the summer and the Caribbean in the Winter. But, when it comes to global superyacht market demand (at least these days) it\u2019s pretty hard to top the United States. So it makes perfect sense that the Azimut\/Benetti Group<\/a> (and other large yacht shipyards that will be covered in future stories) have recently opened new offices at the gloriously rebuilt Pier Sixty Six<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cFort Lauderdale is considered the yachting capital of America and represents a strategic hub for the Group,\u201d says Marco Valle, CEO of the Azimut|Benetti Group. “The opening of these new spaces confirms our commitment to this market and allows us to offer a privileged meeting point to continue connecting with owners and collaborators, in a location that perfectly embodies the spirit and values \u200b\u200bof our brands.” <\/p>\n And I can say from experience during the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show<\/a>, their new offices are as sleek and stylish as you\u2019d expect from the large Italian yachtbuilding group. And I can also say from experience that the new yachts they\u2019ve introduced recently are not only sleek and stylish. They build on the success of the Oasis Deck\u00ae concept and unveil entirely new concepts as well.<\/p>\n The pool and huge aft deck area is a key feature of the new Benetti B.Now 52M<\/p>\n Benetti<\/p>\n First up is the new B.Now 52M<\/a> with exteriors by RWD<\/a> and interiors designed by Valentina Zannier<\/a> that reinterprets and redefines B.Now 50M, one of the most successful Benetti models of recent years.<\/p>\n Of course, the Oasis Deck\u00ae is 30% larger than the previous version, and the completely redesigned pool incorporates a retractable cover system that transforms the area into a spacious platform on the water with a magical atmosphere.<\/p>\n The Benetti 52M features large windows and long view from the aft to the bow <\/p>\n Benetti<\/p>\n While the exterior was redesigned to offer bigger and better spaces to swim, sunbathe and chill, the real heart of the project can be found on the Main Deck that features a continuous 157-foot-long passageway from the stern right up to the panoramic bow terrace. This layout amplifies the sense of space by eliminating an external walkway which now forms part of the interior. In this new solution the walls are replaced with huge, glazed surfaces. <\/p>\n On the upper deck, the elimination of the external staircase up to the terrace creates a massive new area (1,184 square feet) entirely reserved for the owner split between the master suite and the private terrace. <\/p>\n \u201cOur vision for the B.Now 52M was to reprise the extraordinary features that made the B.Now 50M model such a success and take them to the next level, creating a harmonious combination of openness, functionality and flexibility,\u201d explains Charlie Baker, Director of RWD.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, interior designer Valentina Zannier says, \u201cA new concept must represent progress in terms of both aesthetics and functionality in equal measure, and the B.Now 52M perfectly embodies this balance. Essential in her clean architectural lines, elegant in her interior design language, and with fluid connections between the spaces.\u201d<\/p>\n The distinctive pool and beach club lounge onboard the new B.Loft 58M design<\/p>\n Benetti<\/p>\n And now for something completely different, the new B.Loft 58M <\/a>features a sophisticated and contemporary design language by Cassetta Yacht Designers<\/a> that was inspired by large villas and modern lofts.<\/p>\n \u201cWe wanted B.Loft to be a place where you feel wonderfully at ease wherever you are on board: a space that\u2019s both familiar and surprising,\u201d explains Giorgio Cassetta. \u201cWe were inspired by the modern architecture of waterfront villas, particularly in Central America, with terraces on multiple levels that are always perfectly interconnected, where everyone feels part of the same environment.\u201d<\/p>\n The loft experience is in full effect in the panoramic Sky Lounge, which extends across over 750-square-feet and has a remarkable ceiling height of 10 feet, 6 inches. The large glass side walls offer an unobstructed view of the horizon, while a large sliding door opens onto an outdoor area with sea views. <\/p>\n As with all Oasis designs, the heart of the new Oasis 42M<\/a> is an enhanced Oasis Deck that features one of the largest pools in this size category, complete with a retractable cover that extends uninterrupted aft deck space to over 1,100 square feet.<\/p>\n
