Besides his brother, Brown’s father (Vernell Jr.) and grandfather (Vernell Sr.) played for the Gators. Two great uncles, Charlie and Johnell, and one uncle, Vincent, laced up their cleats for the Orange and Blue. His cousin, Vincent Jr., is with the team now as a walk-on.

HUDL, a recruiting site used by high school players to upload game film, lists Brown as 6-foot-1, 280-pound interior lineman. However, nothing is official until financial aid agreement forms are signed. The early signing period begins on December 3 and closes two days later.

Need a news break? Check out the all new PLAY hub with puzzles, games and more!

Those who do not sign early can wait until the regular signing period, which begins February 4.
