Nearly 400 guests arrived at the historic estate on November 22, 2025, stepping into an evening inspired by Vizcaya\u2019s enduring maritime heritage. This year\u2019s theme\u2014\u201cVoyage to Vizcaya: A Caravel Dream\u201d\u2014paid homage to the spirit of exploration woven into Vizcaya\u2019s story, from James Deering\u2019s 1916 arrival by yacht to the coastal motifs found throughout the architecture and grounds.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Co-chaired by Christina and David Martin and Nancy McCormick and Ray Rasco, the event raised essential funds for the preservation of this National Historic Landmark and its growing slate of community programs. Guests entered via a blue-carpet welcome at the Main House, where maritime-inspired d\u00e9cor blended Old World elegance with imaginative coastal elements, setting the tone for a night that honored the estate\u2019s past while celebrating its future.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">A lively cocktail reception filled Vizcaya\u2019s Courtyard as guests enjoyed handcrafted drinks, coastal-inspired hors d\u2019oeuvres, and performances by LID Music Entertainment and New Century Dance. Attendees also previewed a curated selection of auction items, with proceeds supporting Vizcaya\u2019s mission to conserve the estate and expand public access.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Dinner, catered by Thierry Isambert Culinary and Event Design, unfolded on the East Terrace overlooking Biscayne Bay. The waterfront setting\u2014illuminated with soft lighting and framed by the iconic Stone Barge\u2014offered a dramatic backdrop as guests enjoyed an elevated menu that reflected the event\u2019s maritime theme. The celebration continued with dancing under the bay breeze, energized by the Valerie Tyson Trio, as lights shimmered across the water.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">This year\u2019s Ball Committee included Beatriz Bolton, Suzy Buckley Woodward, Elizabeth Costa de Rusch, Swanee DiMare, Natalie Estrella, Roxana Garciga, Sonia Gibson, John Grisham, Camila Guiribitey, Marile Lopez, Linda Lynn Levy, Christina Martin, Sheila Martinez, Nancy McCormick, Bronwyn Miller, Ken O\u2019Keefe, Cammy Richards, Yvonne Rosemeir, Lydia Touzet, and Josie Wang\u2014a distinguished group whose leadership shaped the evening\u2019s success.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Premier Sponsors included Citadel &amp; Citadel Securities, Ken O\u2019Keefe and Jason Stephens, Kenneth C.
