JACKSONVILLE, Fla. \u2013 Good morning and happy Thanksgiving! If you\u2019re hoping for cool, crisp air as you head to brunch, lunch, or wherever your holiday takes you in Jacksonville, you\u2019re in luck.<\/p>\n
I\u2019m forecasting that Thanksgiving Day temperatures will top out at 66 degrees, making this a comfortable holiday for spending time outdoors. You can expect mostly sunny skies throughout the day, according to our Exact Track 4D radar, and wind speeds will stay nice and calm.<\/p>\n
Cooler temperatures here for now<\/p>\n
We\u2019ve had a cold front move through Northeast Florida, and it\u2019s brought in a noticeable drop in temperatures this week. When I checked early this morning, we had temperatures at 61 degrees at JAX Airport, 62 in Mayport, and 64 in St. Augustine.<\/p>\n
Expect these cooler conditions to stick around through Saturday. After that, we\u2019re likely to see highs climbing back above average Sunday through Tuesday. If you like a little chill in the air, this stretch is for you!<\/p>\n
Rain chances and record-dry November<\/p>\n
Here\u2019s something you might not have noticed with all the food prep and family plans: This has been the driest November on record in the Jacksonville area so far, with no recorded rainfall for the month.<\/p>\n
