A man was shot early Friday in what may have been a self-defense shooting in Fort Lauderdale, according to police. <\/p>\n
The gunfire happened at around 3:30 a.m. in the 200 block of Southwest 2nd Street, police said. Video showed police tape surrounding Fat Tuesday, a South Florida bar with several locations known for its frozen cocktails. <\/p>\n
Officers found a man suffering from gunshot wounds that were not life-threatening, and he was rushed to Broward Health Medical Center. <\/p>\n
Authorities said a preliminary investigation revealed that shots were fired after a physical fight between three men. <\/p>\n
The victim did not want to press charges and is not cooperating with detectives, police said. <\/p>\n
The shooter “returned to the scene and is cooperating with detectives,” but has not been arrested. <\/p>\n
