Sunrise Airways is expanding its South Florida footprint with the launch of new service between Cap-Ha\u00eftien and Fort Lauderdale, Caribbean Journal has learned.<\/p>\n
The flights, which begin Dec. 15, 2025, will operate three days a week \u2014 Monday, Wednesday and Friday \u2014 between Cap-Ha\u00eftien International Airport and Fort Lauderdale\u2013Hollywood International Airport.<\/p>\n
The Cap-Ha\u00eftien-to-Fort Lauderdale flight, operating as S6 612, departs at 10:00 a.m. and arrives at noon. The return flight, S6 611, leaves Fort Lauderdale at 1:15 p.m. and arrives in Cap-Ha\u00eftien at 3:15 p.m.<\/p>\n
Fort Lauderdale becomes Sunrise Airways\u2019 second destination in Florida. The company began daily Miami service in Oct. 2023, strengthening its position as a Haiti-focused carrier with growing links to the United States.<\/p>\n

Sunrise Airways will operate the new route with Airbus A320 aircraft. The planes will offer a single cabin configuration with seating for up to 179 passengers, including all-leather seats across the cabin.<\/p>\n
