TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Former Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) Commissioner James \u2018Tim\u2019 Moore died Wednesday from natural causes, according to Gary J. Yates at the Integrity Group.<\/p>\n
Moore served with FDLE for more than 30 years and was commissioner for about 16 years. He started with FDLE in an entry level position before later working as the commissioner for multiple governors, Yates said.<\/p>\n
After that, he became Division Director and Deputy Commissioner and was eventually appointed as FDLE commissioner in 1988. <\/p>\n
\u201cAll of the members of the FDLE were truly fortunate to serve under his leadership. His ability to secure, maintain, and build strong legislative and executive support while developing a long-term criminal justice strategy was unmatched,\u201d Yates said in a social post<\/a>. <\/p>\n More Tallahassee news:<\/p>\n After serving with FDLE, Yates said Moore worked as an executive consultant in various areas. According to Yates, he was a partner at a major automobile dealership before becoming Senior Partner at The Integrity Group in 2018.
