There were two positive signs \u2014 Ryan Mela broke out with his best game of the year, and the Friars were better than they were in the loss to Wisconsin.<\/p>\n

And, Mela finished with 17 points and 8 rebounds.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
At half-time, the Friars trailed the Gators at 45-39. That was better than the 19-point halftime deficit against Wisconsin.<\/p>\n

Florida was led by Princeton transfer Xaivian Lee, who scored a season high 20 points<\/p>\n
