FORT PIERCE \u2014 The St. Lucie County Education Foundation\u2019s Margaritaville Gala at Harbour Ridge Yacht & Country Club celebrated community spirit, island flair, and a shared belief in the power of public education.<\/p>\n
With live music by the Aquaholics and a vibrant tropical atmosphere, guests enjoyed an evening that blended elegance with purpose.<\/p>\n
This longstanding tradition is the longest-running gala in St. Lucie County, held each year since 1999 on the first Saturday in November.<\/p>\n
This year, 161 attendees of supporters, business partners, and education advocates came together to champion opportunities for local students and teachers.<\/p>\n
It was truly an elegant evening for education. Guests experienced exceptional service, passed hors d\u2019oeuvres, a plated lobster and steak dinner, and a custom-crafted dessert created exclusively for the Gala. Every detail reflected the importance of the mission behind the celebration.<\/p>\n
Proceeds from the event support classroom grants, student scholarships, teacher appreciation, and essential resources that benefit the 48,000 students in St. Lucie County\u2019s public schools.<\/p>\n
Foundation President Thom Jones captured the night\u2019s message perfectly \u201cWe are at an inflection point. All roads run through the classroom.\u201d<\/p>\n
