The Florida State Seminoles have officially announced their uniform combination for Saturday’s rivalry showdown against the Florida Gators, revealing a classic road look for one of college football’s most tradition-rich matchups. The Seminoles will take the field at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium wearing gold helmets, white jerseys, and gold pants—a familiar combination that carries plenty of history in the Swamp.

This marks the ninth consecutive meeting in Gainesville in which FSU has worn this traditional road set, reaffirming Mike Norvell’s program’s commitment to uniform consistency in rivalry settings. It also represents the second time this season Florida State has selected this colorway, previously wearing the same combination earlier against Clemson.

Across the field, Florida will counter with a now-standard rivalry weekend look: orange helmets, blue jerseys, and blue pants. Saturday will mark the fourth straight year that this exact uniform matchup has taken place in the Florida–Florida State rivalry, further cementing it as one of the more recognizable color pairings in the sport during Thanksgiving weekend.

The aesthetic contrast between FSU’s gold-white-gold and Florida’s orange-blue-blue has become a visual staple of the rivalry, tracing through multiple coaching staffs, roster cycles, and postseason implications. This year’s game carries its own weight as the Seminoles close out ACC play and attempt to strengthen their postseason resume, while Florida looks to end the season on a high note in front of a home crowd.

With both teams leaning into long-standing uniform traditions, Saturday’s matchup will once again deliver one of college football’s most iconic color-on-color spectacles—one that fans on both sides have come to expect as part of rivalry weekend. The game is set to start at 4:30 p.m. ET and will be on ESPN2.
