Do you drive past a blindingly bright holiday display on your commute home? Are you an aspiring Clark Griswold, hauling out thousands of twinkle lights each year?<\/p>\n<p>The Orlando Sentinel is looking for the best holiday light displays in Central Florida for our eighth annual <a href=\"https:\/\/www.orlandosentinel.com\/2024\/12\/19\/twinkly-awards-2024-central-floridas-best-holiday-light-displays\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Twinkly Awards<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" lazyautosizes lazyload\" alt=\"Yuletide Yoda's Galactic Adventure is a Star Wars-themed showcase of the holidays at 110 Arla Court in Winter Park on Dec. 10, 2024. (Patrick Connolly\/Orlando Sentinel)<\/p>\n<p>Ultimately, we\u2019ll compile a list of our favorite holiday displays and name the awards accordingly. Entries must be from a decorated house or residence, not lights at a park or attraction. Entries within a 45-minute drive of Orlando will be considered. Lakeland and Cocoa Beach, for example, are both a little too far.<\/p>\n<p>There are no wrong answers when it comes to Christmas cheer, but previous award-winning displays have been especially merry and bright, have included thoughtful handmade touches, featured lights that dance to music or showcased outside-the-box thinking.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.orlandosentinel.com\/2024\/12\/19\/twinkly-awards-2024-central-floridas-best-holiday-light-displays\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Twinkly Awards 2024: 25 of Central Florida\u2019s best, brightest home holiday-light displays<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Submission may be uploaded at <a href=\"http:\/\/OrlandoSentinel.com\/TwinklyAwards\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">OrlandoSentinel.com\/TwinklyAwards<\/a> or emailed to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.orlandosentinel.com\/2025\/11\/30\/twinkly-awards-2025-call-for-submissions\/mailto:pconnolly@orlandosentinel.com\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">pconnolly@orlandosentinel.com<\/a> with the house address, display details and photos. The deadline for nominations is noon on Dec. 15.
