This aims to improve safety and reliability at the busy airport.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 eJzHXc body-paragraph\">\u201cThese systems have simply reached their useful life,\u201d said Marquez Griffin, Senior Vice President of Operations at MCO. \u201cIt is time to replace it \u2014 get something newer, something more modern.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 eJzHXc body-paragraph\">During construction, only one tram will operate on Airside 2, mainly serving Southwest Airlines. This will be the first area affected by the project for travelers using these gates. <\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 eJzHXc body-paragraph\">To handle passenger movement during peak hours and overnight closures, a bus shuttle system will be introduced. <\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 eJzHXc body-paragraph\">Clear signage and staff assist passengers with outdoor queues. After Airside 2 work, construction shifts to Airside 4, impacting gates for Delta, Frontier, Spirit, and others.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 eJzHXc body-paragraph\">GOAA emphasizes temporary adjustments are necessary, but the long-term benefits will ensure the Gate Link system serves passengers reliably for decades.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 eJzHXc body-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wftv.com\/mobile-apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" title=\"https:\/\/www.wftv.com\/mobile-apps\">Click here<\/a> to download our free news, weather and smart TV apps.
