PORT ST. LUCIE \u2014 It was a totally rad night for a remarkable cause as United Against Poverty St. Lucie hosted its \u201cLifting UP Lives Celebration: Don\u2019t Stop Believin\u2019\u201d on Friday, Nov. 7.<\/p>\n
Presented by A&G Concrete Pools, the event transformed the IRSC Eastman Advanced Workforce Training Complex into an \u201980s-inspired flashback, complete with neon color, bold fashion, and big hair. Guests enjoyed dinner, cocktails, and lively bidding during both live and silent auctions before the evening peaked with the crowning of Prom King Travis Leonard and Prom Queen Genia Leonard.<\/p>\n
An energetic after-party kept the nostalgia going as attendees filled the dance floor, channeling the spirit of classic prom nights and the era\u2019s unforgettable soundtrack.<\/p>\n
Behind the fun, the celebration carried meaningful weight. Funds raised will support United Against Poverty\u2019s life-changing programs that help St. Lucie County residents overcome obstacles, gain stability, and work toward long-term success.<\/p>\n
Thanks to generous supporters and the strong sense of community in the room, the event reached its fundraising goal\u2014proving once again that when the Treasure Coast comes together, belief turns into action.<\/p>\n
