HIALEAH, Fla. \u2014 An 18-year-old domestic violence victim and mother was in a tumultuous romantic relationship for more than three years with a Hialeah man who faced a felony charge that could result in life imprisonment, records show. <\/p>\n
Leer en espa\u00f1ol<\/a><\/p>\n The domestic violence victim was 17 and living with Eduardo Parapar, then 22, when she gave birth to their baby girl, according to Hialeah police and Miami-Dade County court records on the felony case against him. <\/p>\n On Aug. 4, domestic violence prompted the mother to move out with her daughter, and jump from place to place, until she settled on Aug. 10 at a two-bedroom apartment in Hialeah that belonged to her grandmother, a detective wrote, records show. <\/p>\n \u201cI am going to [expletive] kill that [racial slur],\u201d Parapar, then 23, said after showing up at the apartment on Aug. 11, \u201cthrowing garden pots at the window … banging on the door and kicking it,\u201d according to a Hialeah police report. <\/p>\n The 18-year-old mother and her 13-month-old daughter were with a 15-year-old cousin, and the cousin\u2019s 16-year-old boyfriend in the apartment, according to police. <\/p>\n In a jealous rage, Parapar, 23, punched the 16-year-old boy, and there was a \u201ctug-o-war\u201d before he left with his daughter, according to a Miami-Dade arrest warrant. <\/p>\n On Aug. 13, Parapar\u2019s cellphone was \u201cpinging in Hollywood\u201d when a FaceTime call showed Parapar with his daughter — who was \u201ccrying in distress\u201d — and he said \u201che would be leaving the state\u201d so the mother would \u201cnever see\u201d her again, according to a Hialeah detective\u2019s request for an arrest warrant. <\/p>\n A Miami-Dade judge signed a warrant for Parapar\u2019s arrest on Aug. 14. Without mentioning the toddler, Hialeah detectives asked the public for help with finding Parapar on Aug. 14<\/a> and described him as \u201carmed and dangerous.\u201d <\/p>\n The Hialeah Police Department reported that Parapar was behind bars on Aug. 20<\/a> in Florida\u2019s Santa Rosa County. <\/p>\n
