STUART, Fla. (CBS12) \u2014 A former sales manager at a local assisted living facility, allegedly stole more than $5,000 from an 89-year-old victim.<\/p>\n
The Stuart Police Department (SPD) announced on Monday that Crystal Camille Curet, 33, is accused of financially exploiting an elderly resident.<\/p>\n
According to the news release, Curet gained access to the victim\u2019s debit card while assisting with Veterans\u2019 benefits. Shortly after her termination from the facility, Curet allegedly began making unauthorized purchases, including paying bills, buying fast food, and completing 47 Amazon transactions over the span of about one month.<\/p>\n
