ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. \u2013 A 31-year-old man man faces homicide charges after police say he fatally shot another man inside a woman\u2019s apartment on Thanksgiving Day.<\/p>\n
According to an arrest affidavit filed in Orange County, Jon Fuller is accused of shooting a man in the face during a confrontation at an apartment on Summit Centre Way in Maitland.<\/p>\n
Maitland Police Department said they responded to the residence around 12:12 p.m. and found the victim dead in a back bedroom \u201cwith an obvious gunshot wound to the face\u201d with a spent shell casing was located nearby.<\/p>\n
A witness, described as Fuller\u2019s girlfriend, told investigators she had been in a relationship with the suspect for about a year and a half and is nine months pregnant with his child. She said Fuller had accused her of cheating and showed up at her apartment despite being told not to visit.<\/p>\n
The woman said Fuller entered the apartment while she was braiding the victim\u2019s hair. The victim reportedly offered to leave, but Fuller pulled out a firearm and shot him without warning.<\/p>\n
Police said Fuller then left the apartment, spoke briefly with the woman outside, and then drove away, saying he was \u201cgoing to drive back home.\u201d<\/p>\n
The affidavit does not state when or where Fuller was arrested.<\/p>\n
Officials said Fuller faces a charge of second-degree murder.<\/p>\n
