After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Coral Gables, Mater Brickell Academy<\/a> was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They breezed past the Westland Hialeah Wildcats<\/a> to the tune of 69-31. The contest marked the Bulls’ most dominant victory of the season so far.<\/p>\n Mater Brickell Academy’s win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Nyann Cano<\/a>, who posted 13 points in addition to eight rebounds and seven steals. Sebastien Rodriguez<\/a> was another key player, putting up 17 points.<\/p>\n Westland Hialeah’s loss came despite strong showings from Elias Pinate Castillo<\/a> and Angelo Puentes<\/a>. Pinate Castillo earned 15 points and six boards, while Puentes scored seven points along with ten rebounds and three steals.<\/p>\n Mater Brickell Academy’s record now sits at 5-1. As for Westland Hialeah, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.<\/p>\n Mater Brickell Academy has already played their next game, a 65-46 defeat against Dr. Joaquin Garcia on the 26th. As for Westland Hialeah, they also didn’t take long to hit the court again: they’ve already played their next matchup, a 74-34 loss against Pinecrest Prep on the 26th.<\/p>\n
