ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. \u2014 The St. Johns County Sheriff\u2019s Office said it is responding to a deputy-involved shooting at U.S. 1 and International Golf Parkway.<\/p>\n

The shooting happened around 4 p.m. Tuesday and involved an armed suspect, SJSO said. That suspect was taken to a local hospital.<\/p>\n

U.S. 1 northbound and southbound are closed just south of International Golf Parkway.<\/p>\n

SJSO said \u201cthere is no threat to the public.\u201d<\/p>\n
