WJXT<\/a> shortly after their delivery horror story at their Orange Park home on Sunday.<\/p>\nA DoorDash driver in Florida licked his fingers after dropping off a delivery order. WJXT<\/p>\n
In the video, the driver tries to shimmy the stack of food out of his DoorDash-branded insulated bag, but a container of boneless wings topples to the ground. <\/p>\n
The driver stoops over and places the lid back on, but a single wing and some sauce were splattered on the concrete doorstep. <\/p>\n
He then shoves the wing back inside and tries to kick away the scuff of sauce with his shoe.<\/p>\n
From there, the driver ambles away while licking a dollop of sauce off his fingers, according to the video.<\/p>\n
Brown told the outlet that her family never would\u2019ve known one of the wings touched the ground if it weren\u2019t for the security footage. <\/p>\n
The driver shoved a chicken wing that fell onto the ground back into the container. WJXT<\/p>\n
Trena Brown, whose family made the order, was appalled. WJXT<\/p>\n
Now, Brown is pushing for changes to be made to the delivery process and training.<\/p>\n
\u201cIf he can\u2019t deliver food with due care, then maybe there\u2019s something else out there for him to do. Secondly, on DoorDash\u2019s behalf, I\u2019m not really sure what the training is, but maybe it\u2019s time to bring the drivers in or require them to have some type of training,\u201d Brown told the outlet.<\/p>\n
Brown revealed that she hasn\u2019t ordered takeout since the chicken kerfuffle.<\/p>\n
DoorDash said that it issued a warning to the Dasher who made the delivery. WJXT<\/p>\n
In a statement obtained by the outlet, DoorDash admitted that the Florida man\u2019s tact was \u201cwell below the level of service\u201d it typically aims to provide.
