data-ylk=\"slk:Bill Cotterell;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Bill Cotterell<\/a>, the legendary <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tallahassee.com\/story\/news\/the-tallahassee-democrat-find-out-more-about-us\/86929706007\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Tallahassee Democrat;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Tallahassee Democrat<\/a> reporter and columnist whose decades of political coverage made him a fixture in Sunshine State journalism.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The plaque will be installed in the Senate Press Gallery, which is named after another state journalism legend, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yahoo.com\/news\/fearless-florida-house-hosts-memorial-205357372.html\" data-ylk=\"slk:late Lucy Morgan;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;outcm:mb_qualified_link;_E:mb_qualified_link;ct:story;\" class=\"link  yahoo-link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">late Lucy Morgan<\/a>, who retired as Tallahassee bureau chief of what was then called the St. Petersburg Times.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Expected to attend the ceremony are members of Cotterell\u2019s family, including wife Cynthia Fuller and Carrie Venclauskas, mother of Meagan Cotterell, who is wife of Cotterell&#8217;s son, ceremony where Capitol Press Corps attendees can share their thoughts on Cotterell\u2019s life and legacy.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The family <a Home, 1737 Riggins Road in Tallahassee.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">A public remembrance of Cotterell is being planned for sometime next year, they said.<\/p>\n<p
