The Cobras snuck past the Port St. Lucie Jaguars<\/a> with a 67-61 win for which the team can thank Spriggs, who shot 4-for-7 from deep and dropped a double-double with 23 points and 13 boards. Spriggs is also crushing it when it comes to blocks: he’s posted at least two every time he’s taken the court this season.<\/p>\n Port St. Lucie lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Daniel Alexis<\/a>, who shot 64% from the field en route to 19 points and four steals. Another player making a difference was Bryan Desgrottes<\/a>, who posted 15 points along with seven rebounds and four steals.<\/p>\n Central now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Port St. Lucie, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.<\/p>\n Coming up, Central won’t have much time to rest: their next contest is against Tradition Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Port St. Lucie, they will venture away from home to take on Okeechobee at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.<\/p>\n
