OCALA, Fla. (CBS12) \u2014 An Ocala woman was sentenced on September 16 after a felony conviction for lewd or lascivious battery on her stepson after his father caught them in the act.<\/p>\n
The arrest affidavit from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) said 34-year-old Alexis Von Yates \u2014 also known as Alexis C. Von Rodenstein \u2014 was arrested on November 6, 2024, after she was caught having a sexual relationship with her 15-year-old stepson. <\/p>\n
Von Yates was caught by the victim’s father on July 30, 2024. According to the affidavit, Von Yates was watching the victim and his younger siblings while the children’s father worked late hours. Once the younger children were put to bed, investigators said the two had sexual relations before they were caught.<\/p>\n
See also: OSHA fines tree-trimming company in wood-chipper death<\/a><\/p>\n The sheriff’s office spoke to the victim, who said Von Yates had made several sexual comments to him before and after the situation, and it made him feel “f***** up” and unable to eat.<\/p>\n According to Marion County court records, Von Yates was adjudicated guilty on September 16, after entering a plea of nolo contendere.<\/p>\n Judge Timothy T. McCourt sentenced Von Yates on Sept. 16 to:<\/p>\n 2 years in state prison2 years of community control10 years of probation under sex offender supervision2 days of time served<\/p>\n The court docket shows no trial was held, and the defendant\u2019s plea avoided a jury verdict.
