A speedster from South Florida has signed with the Seminoles.<\/p>\n
Brandon Bennett is a 6\u20190\u201d, 170-pound wide receiver who plays for American Heritage. A four-star prospect, he is considered the 370th best player in the country by 247Composite (54th best wide receiver, 49th best player in FL).<\/p>\n
Florida State<\/a> landed his commitment back on June 12, 2025. The Seminoles beat out offers from two dozen other schools for Bennett, including the Alabama Crimson Tide<\/a>, Arkansas Razorbacks, Auburn Tigers, Colorado Buffaloes<\/a>, Florida Gators, Georgia Bulldogs<\/a>, Kentucky Wildcats<\/a>, Louisville Cardinals<\/a>, Miami Hurricanes<\/a>, Michigan Wolverines<\/a>, Missouri Tigers<\/a>, Oklahoma Sooners<\/a>, Ole Miss Rebels<\/a>, Penn State Nittany Lions<\/a>, Syracuse Orange<\/a>, Tennessee Volunteers<\/a>, Texas A&M Aggies<\/a>, and Wisconsin Badgers<\/a>.<\/p>\n Bennett has deceptive speed and a smooth running style, often blowing past defensive backs who underestimate his acceleration. I like his ability to make adjustments on the fly and he has very good hands. Good route runner and can keep a defense honest as a deep threat. He\u2019s likely to factor into the return game and has enough wiggle to make defenders miss.
