Directed by Michael Greif (Rent, Dear Evan Hansen) and choreographed by four-time Tony Award nominee Camille A. Brown (Once on This Island, for colored girls), the show brings Broadway glitz to Fort Lauderdale<\/a>\u2019s Broward Center for the Performing Arts for a run from March 10\u201330, 2026. Ticket prices range from $60 to $160, depending on the seating location.<\/p>\n From its world premiere at the Public Theater in New York to its Broadway<\/a> debut at the Shubert Theatre, critics agree that Hell\u2019s Kitchen reimagines the jukebox musical genre with a unique character story, not a concert disguised as a plot.<\/p>\n The story follows 17-year-old Keys growing up in Hell\u2019s Kitchen, Manhattan, in the 1990s. In search of independence from her overprotective mother, she discovers identity, community, and purpose. Hits such as \u201cEmpire State of Mind,\u201d \u201cFallin\u2019,\u201d and \u201cNo One\u201d are refreshed to reflect Keys\u2019 personal journey, alongside new songs written exclusively for the show, including \u201cKaleidoscope.\u201d<\/p>\n Hell\u2019s Kitchen has also sparked Broadway debuts for several artists. Gospel icon Yolanda Adams stepped into the role of Miss Liza Jane on November 21 for a limited engagement through January 25, 2026. Grammy-winning R&B artist Ne-Yo will join the cast as Davis beginning December 4.<\/p>\n Accompanying the musical is the book Hell\u2019s Kitchen: Behind the Dream by Kristopher Diaz, which provides an insider look at the creative process and the revisions made for the stage.
