Crews are rebuilding catwalk electrical systems and broadcast and sound equipment as part of the restoration project.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The total repair cost reaches almost $60 million, with raised covering costs above standard replacement expenses. Officials said the work is slightly ahead of schedule due to this year\u2019s unusually calm storm season.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Despite the project\u2019s scale, the city remains on track to have the facility ready by April 6 in time for the 2026 season.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mysuncoast.com\/2024\/10\/10\/tropicana-field-roof-collapse\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.mysuncoast.com\/2024\/10\/10\/tropicana-field-roof-collapse\/\">WATCH: Tropicana Field roof ripped off by Milton\u2019s strong winds<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The repairs come as Citizens Property Insurance Corporation, originally established as a last resort insurer, continues efforts to reduce its size.
