(WCTV) &#8211; A Tallahassee man was indicted in federal court in connection with a school shooting threat that prompted the closure of three Leon County Schools on Nov. 12, according to the Northern District of Florida U.S. Attorney\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wctv.tv\/2025\/11\/14\/man-arrested-following-alleged-threats-leon-county-schools\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.wctv.tv\/2025\/11\/14\/man-arrested-following-alleged-threats-leon-county-schools\/\" target=\"_blank\">Demetrius Murray, 33, was arrested in Gadsden County<\/a> just hours after the alleged threat and was charged with written or electronic threats to kill, do bodily injury or conduct a mass shooting or act of terrorism, according to court records. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"figure-img img-fluid mx-auto d-block\" alt=\"Demetrius Murray's mugshot. \" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/QNTNGMH75FAF7JARHSZNZ7GQJA.png\" width=\"980\" height=\"551\" \/>Demetrius Murray&#8217;s mugshot. (Must credit Leon County Jail)<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | text-start article-text\">Murray appeared before a judge for his arraignment in federal court on Thursday. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | text-start article-text\">His trial is scheduled for Feb. 2, 2026.
