STUART, Fla. (CBS12) \u2014 At the Stuart Christmas Parade, an armed man wearing a bulletproof vest was removed from the crowd after allegedly tailing Congressman Brian Mast.<\/p>\n
On Friday night during the parade, the congressman’s personnel and Martin County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) command staff say they were alerted to the man’s “alarming” behavior.<\/p>\n
Deputies say the man was wearing a hat pulled over his face and many layers of clothing, despite the warm weather.<\/p>\n
