The Copper Kettle is now open at 7390 Gulf Boulevard in the former home of The Frog Pond, led by a familiar face: Alex Victorero, who managed The Frog Pond for more than a decade.<\/p>\n<p>Building upon the legacy of The Frog Pond, The Copper Kettle offers a wide variety of breakfast and lunch plates, all coming in hefty portions. The restaurant soft opened last week and has its grand opening this Saturday. We\u2019ve put in countless hours\u2014blood, sweat and tears\u2014to get this place up and running.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Community-inspired comfort food<\/p>\n<p>The Victoreros want The Copper Kettle to feel like home. They asked for input on the menu, and the community responded loud and clear. Top requests included the Krab and cream cheese omelet, cheese blintzes, the classic lox platter, the much-loved breakfast croissant sandwich and, of course, cinnamon swirl French toast.<\/p>\n<p>Nikki teased what guests can expect: \u201cBig portions, outstanding customer service and some familiar faces.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Rebuilding after the storm<\/p>\n<p>After back-to-back hurricanes in 2024, the path to reopening wasn\u2019t easy.
