(<a href=\"http:\/\/www.wbrc.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">WBRC<\/a>) &#8211; The Jacksonville Police Department is investigating after a stabbing occurred at a Walmart. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | text-start article-text\">According to police, officers responded to a 911 call around 4 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 5. Officers say they learned a man had attempted to steal a computer monitor from the electronics department at the Walmart. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"figure-img img-fluid mx-auto d-block\" alt=\"Jacksonville Walmart theft, stabbing suspect\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/422XGGWIZFBMXIPLDLZJ4TGYZE.png\" width=\"980\" height=\"551\" \/>Jacksonville Walmart theft, stabbing suspect(Jacksonville Police Department)<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | text-start article-text\">Police say a worker for the Salvation Army who was in the department at the time followed the suspect out of the store. During a struggle in the parking lot, the Salvation Army worker was stabbed with a sharp object and the suspect fled the scene. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"figure-img img-fluid mx-auto d-block\" alt=\"Jacksonville Walmart theft, stabbing suspect\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/B54DBJ2QJ5DMDLV6SNYKO6CYAE.png\" width=\"980\" height=\"551\" \/>Jacksonville Walmart theft, stabbing suspect(Jacksonville Police Department)<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | text-start article-text\">The victim was treated by emergency services for non life-threatening injuries. He was taken to a local hospital where he was treated and released Friday evening, according to police. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | text-start article-text\">Police say the man was Black, however he wore a face covering.
