Frontier Airlines is kicking off 2026 with a major expansion: 23 new routes to warm-weather destinations across the U.S. and Mexico\u2014many landing just in time for spring break<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The additions span 24 airports, giving travelers more low-cost ways to reach reliably sunny spots like Phoenix, Fort Lauderdale, Cancun<\/a> and Orlando<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith our expanding network and the introduction of new First Class seats, there\u2019s a lot to be excited about,\u201d said Josh Flyr, Frontier\u2019s vice president of network and operations design, in a recent press statement<\/a>. \u201cThese new routes give travelers even more affordable options as they plan their spring breaks next year.\u201d<\/p>\n

To celebrate the growth, the airline is offering introductory fares starting at $39, depending on the destination.<\/p>\n

Where Frontier Is Adding New Flights<\/p>\n

The new routes lean heavily into warm-weather getaways popular with spring travelers. Phoenix sees one of the largest boosts, with new flights from Nashville, Des Moines, Indianapolis, Omaha,Milwaukee, Memphis and more.<\/p>\n

Florida hotspots\u2014including Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, Tampa and Fort Myers\u2014also get new connections from Midwestern and East Coast airports like Columbus, Indianapolis, Little Rock, St. Louis, Memphis and Norfolk.<\/p>\n

Cancun is another standout: inbound and outbound service will now link the Mexico resort destination with Charlotte, Chicago Midway and Raleigh-Durham.<\/p>\n

Most routes start in March 2026, with a few launching in early April. Frequencies range from two to four flights per week, with some weekly service depending on the destination.<\/p>\n

More Than Just New Routes<\/p>\n

The announcement comes as Frontier continues rolling out product upgrades under what it calls \u201cThe New Frontier.\u201d The airline recently added “UpFront Plus” seating\u2014offering extra room and a guaranteed empty middle seat\u2014and will debut First Class seating in early 2026. Frontier has also revamped its frequent-flyer program, introducing easier elite status and family<\/a> pooling for miles.<\/p>\n

With travel demand remaining strong and spring break on the horizon, these new routes make it easier\u2014and cheaper\u2014to escape winter and head for the sun.<\/p>\n
