{"id":76072,"date":"2025-12-08T21:31:07","date_gmt":"2025-12-08T21:31:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/76072\/"},"modified":"2025-12-08T21:31:07","modified_gmt":"2025-12-08T21:31:07","slug":"plantation-high-school-student-hospitalized-after-being-shot-at-apartment-nbc-6-south-florida","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/76072\/","title":{"rendered":"Plantation High School student hospitalized after being shot at apartment \u2013 NBC 6 South Florida"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A Plantation High School student was hospitalized on Monday after he was shot at an apartment complex near the school, Broward School Board officials said.<\/p>\n<p>According to Plantation Police, officers responded to the area of Northwest 70th Avenue and 16th Street after receiving reports of a shooting.<\/p>\n<p>Police said the incident appeared to have started with a fight involving two juveniles that ended with one of them being shot.<\/p>\n<p>The juvenile who was shot was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.<\/p>\n<p>Police said the shooting happened off-campus and after school hours, and that officers were working to identify a suspect.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Update: Preliminary information suggests a fight between two juveniles, during which one of the juveniles was shot. The juvenile victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
