Tampa has officially released an RFP to sell the Tampa Police Department Headquarters site on N Franklin Street, opening the door for a major new development in the center of downtown.<\/p>\n
The city is asking a minimum of $36 million for the property, which spans just over an acre and occupies an entire block bordered by Madison Street, Franklin Street, Florida Avenue and Kennedy Boulevard. Proposals are due February 6, 2026.<\/p>\n
Mayor Jane Castor said the site represents one of downtown\u2019s rarest opportunities.<\/p>\n
