JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. \u2013 The City of Jacksonville\u2019s Office of Sports & Entertainment, working with Naval Station Mayport and the City of Jacksonville Beach, announced the Jacksonville Sea & Sky Air Show will return Oct. 23-24, 2027, and will include a planned appearance by the U.S. Navy Blue Angels.<\/p>\n
The 2027 national air show calendar was released at the International Council of Air Shows in Las Vegas. The Sea & Sky event will take place along the coastline of Jacksonville Beach and will feature a mix of military and civilian performers.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are excited to bring families, neighbors, aviation enthusiasts and visitors together once again to celebrate community, military partnership and the excitement of flight,\u201d Jacksonville Mayor Donna Deegan said in a statement. \u201cWe are grateful to the Blue Angels for their planned return to our Sea & Sky Airshow to showcase their service, skill and teamwork. It is a privilege to have the Blue Angels and all military air performers bring the thrill and magic of flight back to our proud military community.\u201d<\/p>\n
The free, family-friendly show will include award-winning civilian and military aerobatic performances over the Atlantic and additional on-site activities. Officials said more details \u2014 including the full list of performers, parking options, shuttle service and road closures \u2014 will be announced as the event approaches.<\/p>\n
